Once the SMTP servers will be activated after following the above-given steps the user will be able to easily send emails to all the mail services including yahoo while using a yahoo account on the iPhone.
Once, the sending and receiving settings are done on the iPhone after that the user should move to the setup procedure of the yahoo account on the iPhone.
In order to set up yahoo mail account on the iPhone, the user should follow the below-given steps –
  • On the device click the settings icon.
  • Then choose the mail option.
  • Further click “accounts.”
  • Choose the “Add account” option.

  • Then click the Add mail account option.

  5. The user should click the continue button on each server or the user can also click on “details “and can further click “trust”
  6. Click the save button in order to save the server settings.
  7. Choose the recently created account.
  8. Choose for the SMTP server.
  9. After that, the user should click the done button.
Note-
Before clicking the done button the user should keep a note of the following-
  1. The outgoing mail server hostname, it should be smtp.mail.yahoo.com
  2. The user name should be the full email address.
  3. The password should be the one given to the email ID.
  4. The SSL should be active.
  5. The password should be used for authentication.
  6. The server port should be set to 465.
