What is the process to conduct the Yahoo Mail account Setup?

On the Desktop:
  • First of all, open Yahoo in your browser. It will open the Yahoo main page
  • Click on Sign in that appears in the top-right corner of the page to the left of the bell icon
  • Click on Sign up and this link appears just next to the “Don’t have an account?” option
  • Enter your account details and here you will need to type in the following information:
  1. First name
  2. Last name
  3. Email address- Your chosen Yahoo email address. If your email address is already taken then you will have to enter a different one
  4. Password
  5. Mobile Number- to create a Yahoo account
  6. Birth Date (month, day, and year)
  7. You also can add your gender to the “Gender” domain if you like
  • Click on continue it is the blue button that appears bottom of the page
  • If you have ignored to fill the any required fields or your chosen username isn’t available, you will not be able to move with unless filling out all the required domains or replace your username with one which hasn’t been taken
  • Click on Text me an Account Key. This is blue button appears in the middle of the page. Doing this will ask Yahoo to text a code to the mobile number which you entered earlier
  • You can also tap Call me with an Account Key to get Yahoo call and recite the code
  • Recover the verification code and open the messaging app on your phone, look for and then open the message from Yahoo and re-check the 5-digit security code in the message
  • If you select the Call option then wait for your phone to get a call and then answer the call then listen to the recited number
  • Now, enter the code into the “Verify” domain
  • Then, click on Verify that appears near the middle of the screen
  • Click on ‘Let’s get Started’ option and it will take you back to the Yahoo Mail main page
  • Click on Mail and it will open your Yahoo inbox, that is set up and ready for you to start using it.
On Mobile:
  • Firstly go to Play Store for Yahoo Download process
  • Then, open Yahoo Mail by tapping on its icon
  • Tap Yahoo Mail that appears in the middle of the page
  • Now, tap sign up it is a link at the bottom of the screen. Doing so opens the account creation form
  • Enter your account details and enter the following details:
  1. First name
  2. Last name
  3. Email address- Your chosen Yahoo email address. If your email address is already taken then you will have to enter a different one
  4. Password
  5. Mobile Number- to create a Yahoo account
  6. Birth Date (month, day, and year)
  7. You also can add your gender to the “Gender” domain if you like
  • Tap on Continue that appears like the blue button at the bottom of the screen
  • It is advisable to fill all the required field to avoid barricade while setup the account
  • Now, tap on “Text me an Account Key” to get a text code to the entered mobile number
  • Also, you can tap on “Call me with an Account Key” to get a call from Yahoo and recite the code
  • Recover the five-digit security Verification code from the message (If you’ve chosen message)
  • If you chose the call, then wait to get a call from the Yahoo Mail and enter the recited code into the “Verify” domain
  • Tap on Verify that appears a blue button near the middle of the screen
  • Tap on ‘Let’s get started’ option to open your Yahoo inbox and now you are ready to use
Follow the given steps very carefully and make sure that your device is fully charged. Also, it is advisable to use a strong and stable internet connection to avoid any glitches while following these steps.
